H\u00e1 v\u00e1rios fatores predisponentes para a r\u00e1pida prolifera\u00e7\u00e3o da bact\u00e9ria <em>Clostridium perfringens<\/em>. Os PAMPs se ligam a <strong>receptores de reconhecimento padr\u00e3o &#8211; PRRs<\/strong> que ficam localizados no interior e na superf\u00edcie das c\u00e9lulas sentinelas (macr\u00f3fragos, c\u00e9lulas dendr\u00edticas e mast\u00f3citos).<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">As Citocinas<\/h3>\n<p>Os PAMPs, ao se ligarem aos PRRs, principalmente ao grupo de receptores denominado <em>toll <\/em>(TLR), geram sinais que ativam as c\u00e9lulas sentinelas e as estimulam a secretar diversas mol\u00e9culas, e algumas delas s\u00e3o as citocinas, prote\u00ednas que \u201cligam\u201d o processo inflamat\u00f3rio.<\/p>\n<p>Essas mol\u00e9culas desencadeiam aumentos locais no fluxo sangu\u00edneo, atraem c\u00e9lulas de defesa, como os neutr\u00f3filos, e aumentam a permeabilidade vascular, permitindo que as mol\u00e9culas antimicrobianas e as c\u00e9lulas inundem os tecidos acometidos (TIZARD, 2014).<\/p>\n<p>Dentro deste conjunto de citocinas, temos a <strong>Interleucina 1 (IL-1)<\/strong>, <strong>Interferon \u03b3 (IFN-\u03b3)<\/strong>,<strong> Interleucina 13 (IL-13), (IL-17)<\/strong> e o<strong> fator transformador de crescimento (TGF) \u2013 \u03b2<\/strong>. Al\u00e9m destas, muitas outras mol\u00e9culas s\u00e3o produzidas pelas c\u00e9lulas sentinelas e c\u00e9lulas danificadas, desencadeando e mantendo a inflama\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p>Coletivamente, estas mol\u00e9culas desencadeiam aumentos locais no fluxo sangu\u00edneo, atraem c\u00e9lulas de defesa, como os neutr\u00f3filos, promovem maior permeabilidade vascular, levando ao edema tecidual, e matam microrganismos invasores (TIZARD, 2014).<\/p>\n<p>Por fim, para que tudo isso ocorra, h\u00e1 uma grande demanda energ\u00e9tica, al\u00e9m das perdas zoot\u00e9cnicas.
